The Village Church is pleased to announce that our site is now running on WordPress, the open-source content management system. WordPress is a platform that enables us to involve more people in bringing our community experience to the web by lowering the technology barrier. In other words, you don’t need to be a computer scientist to use it.
We’ll be using this platform to help ministry leaders modify their own material, “podcast” our Village Church sermons, provide news feeds, invite comments from visitors, and publish a deeper level of content in the form of text and multimedia. Many thanks are due to the WordPress team for creating a brilliant product and making it free.
