The Village Church in Greenwich Village

New Features for Spring!

Spring is here! And, so are some new features at the Village Church website. We’ve got some great stuff lined up for the next few weeks for our Interweb presence, but I’d like to show you what we’ve just launched.

First, as some of you may have noticed, we’ve quietly launched some feedback features. You can now comment on sermons and news articles. We’re hoping to get a little more discussion going on here because, at the Village Church, we like to question authority. Feel free to leave some thoughts, ideas, questions, or disagreements on the site. If you’ve got a blog, we’re also accepting pingbacks so you can take the discussion across the web.

We’ve also launched ratings on sermons. Ratings are a quick way to tell us what sermons you really like. How do you rate a sermon? Just click on the stars just below the sermon title. The more stars you give the sermon, the more you dig it. In the near future, we’ll be highlighting the top-rated and most-discussed sermons on the site.

Speaking of sermons, we’re providing the text of Sam’s manuscripts along with the audio recording. This can come in handy if you’re planning a Bible study around a sermon series and need to look up some of his references, or find it difficult to hear the recordings. The documents are in PDF format, and we’ve indicated which sermons have them on the sermon archives page.

Thanks for checking out the site. Got an idea for how we can improve? Leave us a comment, or drop us a line.
